This week I am highlighting a range of food research opportunities, from work with high school students, to a research support position for undergraduates and a mid-career design research opportunity, to a PhD-level university position. Something for everyone, I hope. Here’s a little about each:
Colorado State University is hiring a GROW Youth Institute Mentor to support high school students as they conduct research and participate in educational activities on a food security-related global challenge topic.
Penn State University’s Reyes Lab has a part-time Research Support opportunity for an undergraduate to learn and apply mixed qualitative and quantitative methodologies while working on projects related to food choice, early childhood nutrition, and community health.
The Food for Climate League is looking for a Design Researcher for a six-month contract position to help identify and understand specific behavioral challenges and opportunities related to sustainable food choices. This person should have a behavioral science background and expertise in qualitative, quantitative, and ethnographic research methodologies.
Duke University’s World Food Policy Center is hiring a PhD-level Research Scientist to build out a research portfolio in food and nutrition security, food loss and waste, and food and sustainability.
