I came across a number of interesting part-time or contract positions this week that require specific and specialized knowledge:
Expedition travel company Lindblad, in partnership with National Geographic, is looking for a Food and Wine Specialist to serve as the expert in culture, food, and wine for their voyages in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, has an opening for a Tea House Facilitator. The Naropa Tea House is home to various forms of traditional tea practice and ceremony and holds a lineage of contemplative practice that has been taught and appreciated since Naropa’s inception.
The Culinary Institute of America seeks a Consulting Chef to work at their Hyde Park campus. The consultant will conduct in-person and online leadership programs and training for the food service industry and work on strategic innovation projects such as recipe development and instructional videos.
Calizo Condiments uses family recipes from Calabria and Tuscany to produce a line of seasonings, sauces, oils and vegetables. They are hiring two remote Wholesale Food Consultants – one with a sales background to work in a client relationship-focused position, and a second role focused on procurement and industry trends.
