Hello Readers,

The pot is brimming with exciting food-adjacent job possibilities this week, and may overflow, exceeding the length limited for Substack emails. If you are reading this in your email and the post is truncated please click through to read online or in the app.

With a longer-than-usual list, I am having a hard time choosing just one position to highlight, so am am going with two this week. It illustrates just how wide ranging the possibilities are for food careers!

Somehow, both highlights are transportation-related:

Vast, a developer of a private space station, is hiring for a the Manager of Space Food Systems. This manager will be responsible for researching, developing, and managing food system provisioning, production, and delivery to support crewed missions in low orbit.

Or, if you prefer ground-based transportation, and have an itch to drive a 27-foot-long hot dog on wheels:

Kraft Heinz is hiring graduating college seniors for the position of Wienermobile Spokesperson. This is a one-year program, beginning in June. Positions include an annual salary, hotel accommodations, and a weekly allowance for meals and expenses.
